Fitting of your custom orthotics will take
approximately 15/20 minutes. Dr Munderloh will correct your posture and
heat mold the orthotic to your shoes and feet for a snug and comfortable
fit.
Orthotics - a natural cure...*
It is estimated hat around 75% of the population suffer from 'excess
pronation' due to the tibial varum factor and the unnatural, hard surfaces
we walk on daily. 'Excess Pronation' often disrupts normal knee function and
hip alignment and increases forces on the lower back muscles. These
biomechanical deficiencies are common in all types of patients from children
to the elderly, from top athletes to people with a sedentary lifestyle.
Orthotic devices are designed to maintain the natural rearfoot varum angle
and, in turn, improve body posture. In combination with the practioner's
regular treatment regime, orthotics are usually successful in alleviating
chronic pains.
