X-Ray

X-rays, MRI, CT Scans, Ultrasounds are all forms of imaging tools used to establish a diagnoses, ascertain problems or document your progress.

Our facility makes use of X-rays, an energy form that is cast through the body to project a shadow on special film. Because of the sensitivity to radiation, special care is taken to minimize exposure. For that reason we use:

• High speed film

• Lead shielding to protect sensitive body parts

• Automatic electronic timing

• Special filters to further reduce energy

• State-of-the-art equipment

• Regular inspection and maintenance of equipment
